Messages of love

Written messages of love can come in many forms.

Here is one from Marianne Williamson which always resonates with me:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

— from A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson.

I found this one on Facebook:

“If YOU are NOT being treated with respect, check your price tag. Perhaps you have marked Yourself down. It’s you who tells people what you are worth by what you accept. Get off the clearance rack and get behind the glass where the valuables are kept! Learn to value Yourself more! If you don’t noone else will! AND please help someone get off the clearance rack…”

— from the Live Laugh Love page.

And the following are feedback from some of my wondrous Sparkles and Angels customers:

“Perfect, it took me hours and hours to find this gift. Thank you, it’s lovely!” — D.A., Idaho

“LOVE these!! They are just what I had been scouring for for my mother for Christmas! Thank you so very very much!!!” — V.P., Kentucky

“Wonderful seller and person. Beautiful earrings, super fast shipping, lovely packaging! A true person in every sense ! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” — N.Z., New York

“LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! These earrings are so lightweight and they move beautifully. They also catch the light well which was unexpected but something I should have figured out from a store that has ‘sparkles’ in their name. I have been wearing them non-stop since they arrived 😀 ” — B.C., Illinois

“Very friendly and helpful seller. Gorgeous packaging and beautiful earrings. Thank you so much!” — M.M., Ireland

“Fantastic! I couldn’t be happier – I’m sure these will make a fantastic Xmas present. A+++ — T.F., North Carolina

My heart opens whenever I read these. Infinite love and gratitude to all.

Spirituality through greeting cards

I love greeting cards — yes, it’s one of my passions (how many passions does this woman have, you might ask. The answer is: Many!)  These days I am constantly amazed at my finds. I stumbled upon the card below in a Rite Aid drugstore!!!

This is the message on the card, in case you can’t decipher it from the photo:

“We didn’t come here to fit in. We came here to be who we are. We didn’t come here to work. We came here to live our dreams. We didn’t come here for the stuff. We came here to love each other. We didn’t come here by accident. We each came here with a purpose that is uniquely our own… [and then inside the card] Be… Dream… Love… Thrive… Always… Happy Birthday”  — from American Greetings.

Wow… It would have been safe to say that I would never have found such a card ten years ago.

Here’s another one from a lesser-known company:

“Change is to our lives as water is to our bodies. Without it we dry up. It is the source. Change wakes us up: change keeps us from falling asleep during the best bits of our lives.”   — Mary Ann Radmacher — from Brush Dance.

And then there’s this one. I can’t say I like the art (not my style) but what it says rings true:

“Many people don’t know there are angels whose only job is to make sure you don’t get too comfortable & fall asleep & miss your life.”  — from Artists to Watch.

I believe that all my angels are of this type 🙂
